I has no problem registering it was four super easy questions nothing that would give your privacy away Once I saw the screen of the flu problem in my area was relieved I got the shot just today Super easy and great info

This app recently changed from being obvious to obscure Instead of opening directly to the flu data collection page it now opens to the flu map This forces participants to poke around in the app to figure out how to post their data This gives the impression that FNY and HealthMap dont care about participant data any more Also all feedback and bug report information has been removed from the app and its associated website Not a good sign Recent changes Illconsidered

Registering is a bit wonky but doable If you must then go to FluNearYouorg and register there Your app will then work too With enough registered reporters this data will fill in the gaps in what is known about epidemics and help everyone more and more over time Works Great

I downloaded the app and it will only show the Atlantic Ocean It says there are no cases there Thats really helpful No flu in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean
With so much in the news about epidemics this app fulfills an important need of tracking flu in your area Great to get very current data on illness in your area Reporting your own symptoms is quick and easy I encourage more to join and help make a difference Great app important cause

I had been using the web version of this site to report symptoms weekly until the app was released I find the app very easy to use and can quickly submit my report every Monday The map provides a useful picture of flu around me Relevant and useful
